What is PRF treatment?

Perhaps you have heard of PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma) before, more commonly known as the vampire facial.

PRF treatment is a version of that, which has proven to be superior and more efficient than PRP.

PRF involves taking a small blood sample, which is spun in a centrifuge on a slow cycle and 100% natural. PRP is spun on a faster cycle and is not 100% natural, due to an anticoagulant within the collection tube. The process for PRF preserves the platelets and fibrin, key components in skin and hair rejuvenation, both improving collagen and elastin within the skin. The platelets remain active throughout the process and are rich in growth factors. These growth factors are released slowly, trapped inside the fibrin mesh.
